About Our After Hours Clinic
Catering For Weekend Radiology Demand
As you probably have found out, most X-Ray Departments in Central and Northern Adelaide close at 12pm on Saturdays.
Our weekend clinic at McIntyre Medical Centre caters for those times when you are unable to attend a Radiology Clinic during the week. We have a Radiographer on site every Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 3pm.
You do need to have a copy of your GP or Specialist Radiology Request Form, which you will need to bring with you for your appointment.
Weekend X-Ray Booking & Cost
You can book online via the booking link above, or you can walk in to our clinic at any time between 11am and 3pm.
We do charge an out-of-pocket fee of $89.00 which is payable before your appointment.
All out X-Rays are reported by our partners at Jones Radiology and your GP will electronically receive the Radiology Report on the Monday following the X-Ray.
What Can We X-Ray...?
We cannot X-Ray:
- Dental Imaging and OPG's
- Children under 4 years
- Patients who may be pregnant
- Cervical Spine, Skull or Facial Bone X-Ray's
What We Can X-Ray:
- All Upper Arm & Extremities
- All Lower Extremities
- Chest X-Ray's
- Abdomen X-Ray's
- Pelvic X-Ray's
We DO NOT X-Ray any Major Trauma, or patients experiencing and acute Chest Pain, or patients experiencing any stroke like symptoms.
